Paper Podcasts was a nationwide print campaign that helped avid newspaper readers find a love of listening too. Running full transcriptions of The Spinoff’s latest episodes in papers, the campaign showed a large, traditional media audience exactly why they should make the leap into the world of podcasts.
In total three double page print ads were created for the podcasts Gone By Lunchtime, When The Facts Change and The Fold, as well as a quarter page ad for Dear Jane. For each podcast, I created illustrations of the hosts, each in a distinct style. I also created custom decorative blackletter lettering for The Fold, which featured visual references to podcasting worked into the flourishing.
